It's my great pleasure to welcome you to our new blog. I have been working in the framing business since 1985 and a few years after that I opened Kat's Gallery & Framing Shop Ltd., in 1989 in Jackson's Point, Ontario. I am a certified professional framer with a wealth of experience looking after treasured mementos and artwork. It's my intention with this blog to offer friends and clients some ideas, advice and expertise for putting the finishing touches on your valuable keepsakes. In addition we'll also keep you posted about upcoming events with featured artists and what's new in the industry.
Speaking of featured artists, I would like to invite you to join us in The Simcoe Room on June 19th at the Lake Simcoe Arms Restaurant in Jackson's Point, Ontario from noon to 5PM to view the work of John Kaltenhauser, painter of northern Ontario. John has graciously offered to personalize any artwork at the show so please join us as we celebrate his work.
